Join us as we celebrate and honor our 2025 Alumni Award recipients on Saturday, November 1st, 2025! This event is sponsored by the Roger Bacon Alumni Association
This event will take place at Roger Bacon High School in the Fine Arts Center. Mass will begin at 5:00pm followed by a social and dinner.
Tickets are $50 each and will include a buffet style dinner and drinks for the evening. Tickets must be reserved by October 27th, 2025.

Mark Piepmeier '72 – Astrolabe Award
Mark has built upon the Franciscan traditions he learned as a student at RB and put them at the forefront of his life through his consistent service to others. He served on the Sharonville City Council, and then served six months in Iraq as a captain in the Army. While there he was awarded several medals. He has also served as a Chief Trial Council with the Hamilton County Prosecutor’s Office for many years.
Sherrie Lakes '71 – Amaranth Award
Sherri is an Angel who has used her foundation of Christian principles and Franciscan ideals throughout her professional career, always putting the needs of her brothers and sisters in Arms first. She was an RN until she joined the Army in 1974 where she then served multiple tours in the Middle East. She worked her way up to colonel in the Army and is now retired.
Kelly (Rickenbaugh) Marsh '91 † – Spartan Award
Sticking true to her Franciscan values as an RB alumna, Kelly used her own personal tragedy after suffering a massive hemorrhagic stroke to help other people. She wrote a book with her husband about the experience that led to speaking events around the country to help stroke victims. She also started her foundation, One Stroke Forward, that helps many stroke survivors cover the costs associated with recovery.
Mose '81 & Barb Demasi – Roger Bacon Award
For over 30 years, Mose and Barb Demasi have run “Helping Hands of Hope” which is their organization that focuses on providing hunger relief to working, struggling families in the greater Cincinnati Area during the Thanksgiving season. Last year, they provided food for 630 families! In addition, Mose was a member of the Cincinnati Fire Department for 33 total years and spent 18 of those years as Assistant Chief. Barb worked as a Public Health Nurse for 28 years!
