Young Entrepreneurs of Color Pitch Competition

The Abercrumbie Group is proud to present the 2024 Young Entrepreneurs of Color Pitch Competition!

In 2021, we created the Young Entrepreneurs of Color Pitch Competition to provide training, resources, and mentorship to support African American and Latinx high school students in building sustainable, scalable businesses. This year, the program will provide a one-week paid internship to students and young professionals, ages 15-20, to learn about entrepreneurship and work in teams to pitch business ideas that provide solutions for real company problems.

The internship will take place July 15-19, 2024 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at various locations in Downtown Cincinnati. Interns will earn $17/hour or $595 for the full week. Application forms are due by Friday, April 12 at 5:00 PM. Accepted and waitlisted applicants will be notified on Friday, April 26.

Youth at the Booth Program

Youth at the Booth allows high school students who are 17 years old and up to work the upcoming Election Day polls as fully fledged poll workers. They receive valuable job training and experience, become acquainted with our democratic processes in a first hand manner, and earn compensation in both community service hours and dollars and cents. The Presidential Primary is on March 19th, 2024, and we want you to participate.
