Roger Bacon High School Promotes Brandon Spaeth to Director of Alumni Engagement and Marketing.

Roger Bacon High School is proud to announce that Brandon Spaeth, RB Class of 2011, will be joining the Alumni and Advancement Office as the Director of Alumni Engagement and Marketing effective July 1, 2022. He will be working alongside Sue Huerkamp (OLA Class of 1972) overseeing alumni relations as the school approaches its 100th anniversary in 2028. Roger Bacon Advancement Director, Brandon Cowans, is excited about the new addition to the Advancement Office. “Brandon is going to be a great addition to the team. He is energetic, creative, and passionate about Roger Bacon. His experience in building relationships and marketing will be invaluable as we carve out new ways to engage our alumni and move forward to greater things.”

Many will know Brandon from his last seven years as the school’s Assistant Athletic Director. In addition to extensive behind-the-scenes work, Brandon managed the Roger Bacon Athletics social media channels, spearheading the effort to celebrate the successes of the school, its programs, and the individual achievements of student athletes. Brandon is responsible for many of the clever social media edits of college-bound Spartan athletes. He is seen by many as the “go-to-person” at sporting events and created countless trusted relationships with parents, alumni, students, and community members.

Brandon credits his professional growth to his coworkers, in particular Roger Bacon’s Athletic Director, Steve Rossi. “Steve couldn’t have been a better mentor and leader for me during my young professional career. He trusted and allowed me to do some unique things that were fun for our student athletes and coaches. His style of leadership has done wonders for me and our department!”

“I am very eager and excited to engage with our amazing alumni that play such a vital role in what we are able to do at Roger Bacon,” said Brandon Spaeth. “Our plans for the future are exciting and I can’t wait to get started next school year!”
