Zoe Bay

Miami University | The Ohio State University

I will graduate with both a Bachelor’s and Master's degree in Social Work in only 4 years. I genuinely could not have managed this without being in the Assisi Scholars Program and taking so many AP classes. The program also prepared me for the academic and time demands of college. I learned time management skills and dealt with a rigorous course load in high school.

After RB, I attended Miami University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in social work with a focus in psychopathology. For my undergraduate field experience, I interned at an agency providing crisis intervention and case management services to survivors of sexual assault, stalking, and domestic violence. The summer after graduating from undergrad, I passed my social work licensure exam. Now, I attend Ohio State University where I am pursuing my master's degree in social work, with a focus in mental health and substance use. I am currently interning at a Columbus agency where I provide outpatient mental health and Substance Use Disorder counseling to older adults, as well as assist with a couple support groups.

“The Assisi Scholars Program allowed me to be part of something that mattered to me, that challenged me, lifted me up, and gave me a strong group of people to learn from and grow with throughout those 4 years.”
