Spartan Boys' Golf Returns to State Championship for Second Straight Year

The Roger Bacon High School boys' golf team is heading back to the State Championship Tournament!

The Spartans secured their spot in the state tournament for the second consecutive year after finishing as District Runner-Up at Heatherwoode Golf Club on Monday.

With the strong district finish, Roger Bacon has once again earned the opportunity to compete among Ohio’s top high school golf teams at the final tournament of the season. The State Championship Tournament will take place October 11-12 at the prestigious Firestone Country Club in Akron.

The back-to-back state tournament appearances are a tremendous accomplishment for the Spartans and a reflection of the hard work and dedication of the players, coaches and entire Roger Bacon golf program.

The team also extends its gratitude to the Roger Bacon community for the support, prayers and encouragement that have helped the program reach this point.
