Saffron Vaughn '29 Selected as CISV American Ambassador

Roger Bacon High School is proud to share that Saffron (Saffi) Vaughn '29 has been selected as an American Ambassador for the CISV (Children’s International Summer Villages) program, a respected national and international youth leadership organization dedicated to promoting global citizenship, peace education, and cross-cultural understanding.

As part of this honor, Saffi will spend six weeks this summer in Ecuador participating in the program’s immersive international experience. Selection as a CISV Ambassador reflects strong leadership, character, and the respect of peers, making it a significant achievement for Saffi and a positive reflection of the Roger Bacon community.

“Saffi is a deeply empathetic young leader who consistently strives for excellence both inside and outside the classroom,” said Intervention Specialist Robyn Blackwell. “She approaches every person with kindness, openness, and genuine respect, making others feel seen and valued. There is no doubt that she will be an outstanding representative of what it means to be a Spartan while serving as an American Ambassador with Children’s International Summer Villages (CISV) in Ecuador.”
