Roger Bacon’s Chemistry Honors sophomores visited the American Sign Museum to learn more about how Neon, Argon, and Phosphorus are used to make signs. A sign maker from Neonworks, Cincinnati’s only full-time neon sign shop, demonstrated how glass tubes are shaped and filled with gas to create signs of different shapes and colors. Students also had time to explore the museum, with over 500 signs on display.
