Roger Bacon Seniors Named Commended Students in 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program

Roger Bacon High School is proud to announce that seniors Luke Miller, Bryan Yaecker, and Joseph Zlatic have been named Commended Students in the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Program, recognizing their outstanding academic achievement and exceptional academic promise.

Approximately 34,000 students nationwide have earned the distinction of being named a Commended Student. These students are recognized for their exceptional academic promise after placing among the top 50,000 students who entered the 2027 National Merit Scholarship Competition by taking the 2025 Preliminary SAT/National Merit Scholarship Qualifying Test (PSAT/NMSQT).

The National Merit Scholarship Program recognizes high-achieving students across the country for their academic accomplishments, with Commended Students representing a select group of students who demonstrated exceptional performance on the qualifying assessment.
