Roger Bacon Honors Six More Scholarship Recipients

Roger Bacon was honored to recognize six more scholarship recipients as honors recognition continues.

The Donald Miller Scholarship was established in memory of Donald Miller, a 1948 graduate of Roger Bacon. Don was an extraordinarily kind and compassionate man, and would direct that kindness to everyone, without exception. This scholarship is awarded to a student or students who exhibit that same kindness in everyday life at Roger Bacon. The 2024 Donald Miller Scholarships is presented to Gabby Ernst & DeAijah Thomas Turner

The Roger Bacon Class of 1952, on the occasion of their 50th reunion, established a scholarship for students based on their community involvement, academic achievement, and appreciation for a Catholic education. The 2024 Roger Bacon Class of 1952 Scholarship is presented to Ava Schildmeyer and Jaxon Erkins.

The Class of 1965 established a scholarship for a student based on his or her community involvement, academic involvement, and appreciation for a Roger Bacon education. The 2024 Roger Bacon Class of 1965 Scholarship is awarded to De'vion Gipson & Brayden Smart.
