Roger Bacon High School Welcomes 31 New Members to National Honor Society
Roger Bacon High School proudly celebrated the induction of 31 students into the school’s chapter of the National Honor Society during a special ceremony held yesterday.
The National Honor Society recognizes students who have demonstrated excellence in the four pillars of the organization: scholarship, service, character, and leadership. Membership is one of the highest honors a high school student can receive, reflecting both academic achievement and a commitment to serving others.
Family members, faculty, and friends gathered to honor the newest inductees as they were formally welcomed into the Roger Bacon chapter. The ceremony served as a celebration of the students’ hard work, dedication, and the positive example they set within the school community.
“I am so proud of our 31 new members of the Roger Bacon chapter of the National Honor Society,” said NHS Moderator Mrs. Annie Welt. “It is such an honor to work with kids that are so dedicated to the tenets of scholarship, service, character, and leadership. I know these new members will help positively contribute to Roger Bacon's legacy.”
At Roger Bacon, students are encouraged to pursue academic excellence while living out the school’s Franciscan values through leadership and service. The induction of these 31 students reflects the bright future of the Spartan community.
Congratulations to all of the newest members of the National Honor Society on this outstanding accomplishment. Forward to Greater Things!
