Roger Bacon Celebrates Ash Wednesday

Today, Roger Bacon celebrated Ash Wednesday as a Spartan community. All were reminded of our relationships with God and turned to him for forgiveness as the season of Lent officially begins. It was a beautiful celebration for the entire student body.

Moments like this are what the entire "𝘞𝘦 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘎𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘚𝘰𝘪𝘭" campaign is built on. Roger Bacon truly is the good soil - rooted in our Franciscan charism. As everyone proudly wore their ashes and prepared for the discipline that the season of Lent brings, let us be grateful for the "𝘨𝘰𝘰𝘥 𝘴𝘰𝘪𝘭" in our lives.
