Roger Bacon Celebrates Four Senior Eagle Scouts

Roger Bacon is honored to recognize four senior students that have earned the rare distinction of Eagle Scout, the highest recognition one can earn in the Boy Scouts of America. Roger Bacon has a long history of producing Eagle scouts, and is very proud to have these four members of the Class of 2023 earn this prestigious distinction.

Senior Jack Bentley is from troop 555 at St. Gertrude parish. His Eagle project was building bat houses for Long Branch Farm in Goshen, Ohio.

Senior Emmett Breda is from troop 420 at St. Bartholomew parish. Emmett did work outside of St. Francis Plaza at Roger Bacon, including adding/replaced wooden benches.

Senior Trevor Ogilvie is from troop 850 at St. Ignatius Loyola. His Eagle project was extending a handicap accessible walkway through the Helen S. Ruder preserve in Oxford, OH.

Senior Henry Vieth is from troop 400 at Our Lady of the Rosary parish. Henry built 15 bird houses for three different types of birds, and positioned them throughout the Roger Bacon campus.

Congratulations!
