Michael Wiegand Named Head Coach

The Roger Bacon athletic department is excited to announce that Michael Wiegand has been hired as the girls' varsity basketball head coach. Michael is no stranger to the program, as he has already spent multiple years within it. Steve Rossi had this to say about the hire, “We’re very excited to name Mike Wiegand the head girl's basketball coach. Mike has been at Roger Bacon for 9 years and is a significant part of the culture here, not just for basketball but in the school community. Mike supports all of the programs and activities at Roger Bacon, and we’re thrilled to give him this opportunity.”

Coach Wiegand said, “I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead as the girls' basketball head coach. I am looking forward to fostering a supportive environment and achieving great things together on and off the court. I’m looking forward to making a positive impact and bringing exciting new changes to the girls' basketball program.”
