FEASTival Brings Roger Bacon Community Together in Franciscan Fellowship

Roger Bacon High School students gathered at Bron Bacevich Memorial Stadium for the school’s annual FEASTival, an afternoon dedicated to celebrating the school’s Franciscan charism and strengthening the bonds of fellowship within the Spartan community.

Organized by the Spiritual Life Student Team, the event brought students together for an afternoon of games, activities, and fun in the sun. More than just a chance to enjoy time outside the classroom, FEASTival offered students an opportunity to build relationships, share in community, and celebrate the Franciscan values that are at the heart of a Roger Bacon education.

Rooted in the example of St. Francis of Assisi, Roger Bacon’s Franciscan tradition calls students to live out their faith through service, compassion, and a deep appreciation for the dignity of every person. Events like FEASTival put those values into action, creating opportunities for students to connect with one another and strengthen the sense of belonging that makes the Roger Bacon community special.

The afternoon was a joyful reminder that the Franciscan spirit is lived not only through prayer and service, but also through the everyday moments of friendship, fellowship, and shared experiences.

A special thank-you goes to the Spiritual Life Student Team for organizing this annual tradition and helping bring the Roger Bacon community together in celebration of its Franciscan identity.

At Roger Bacon, we continue to grow together in faith, fellowship, and our call to be the Good Soil.
