De'vion Gipson Receives Principal's Honor Award

At graduation last week, Roger Bacon High School recognized several outstanding members of the Class of 2026 with special awards celebrating their achievements, leadership, and commitment to the school community.

The first of these honors is the Principal's Honor Award, presented annually to a senior who has given exceptionally of his or her time and talents to promote the welfare and reputation of Roger Bacon High School while maintaining high academic standards.

This year's recipient is De'vion Gipson.

Throughout his time at Roger Bacon, De'vion has demonstrated the qualities that define a true Spartan. His commitment to excellence, positive attitude, and willingness to serve others have made a lasting impact both inside and outside the classroom.

Principal Tim McCoy '02 praised De'vion's character and contributions to the school community.
