Congratulations to the Class of 2020 Top Ten!

As the year comes to a close, we are showcasing the students who, through their hard work and dedication, are graduating at the top of their class.

4: Mia Grooms

Acceptances: Ohio University, Valparaiso University, Ringling College of Art and Design, School of the Art Institute of Chicago, Cleveland Institute of Art, Art Academy of Cincinnati
College and Major: Cleveland Institute of Art, Animation
Total Scholarships Offered: $490,000

Mia said the thing she will miss most about Roger Bacon is saying hello to all the teachers and staff members throughout the day. She is looking forward to attending the Cleveland Institute of Art because of the animation program it offers. Mia said, "I’m looking forward to living on my own for the first time, as well as getting started as an official animator, since that has been my dream ever since I was in middle school."

3: Bryan Koch

Acceptances: Miami University, Ohio State University, Purdue University
College and Major: Ohio State University, Chemical Engineering
Total Scholarships Offered: $14,000

Bryan is looking forward to attending Ohio State next fall. He chose OSU because of its strong engineering program, and because of the environment and student life. Bryan is looking forward to branching out and meeting new people next year. He will definitely miss the Roger Bacon family, though. Bryan said, "The thing I will miss most about RB is definitely the student body and the family environment that they provide. I will never forget the friends and memories I made here."
