Boys Golf Finishes 5th at State Tournament

Boys Golf Caps Historic Season with Fifth-Place Finish at State

The Roger Bacon boys golf team capped another outstanding season with a fifth-place finish among 12 teams at the OHSAA Division II State Tournament, posting a team score of 642. Blake Rohling '28 led the Spartans with an 11th-place individual finish, shooting 2-over-par across the two-day tournament.

The state tournament performance capped a season filled with milestones, including multiple team and individual tournament victories and the program’s first league championship since 1969. The Spartans also earned back-to-back sectional championships and qualified as a team for the state tournament for the second consecutive year.

Congratulations to Coach Rosenfeldt, the coaching staff, and all our Spartan golfers on a remarkable season!
