"Bacon Gives Back" Supports Local Community

On Friday, May 10, Roger Bacon students took to the streets of St. Bernard to put service learning into action.

Students grouped together to spread out amongst different sites around St. Bernard to spend a day growing as Franciscans in service to others. Members of the St. Bernard asked for help with things like yard work and cleaning, and the Spartans answered the call.

Special thanks goes to Mr. Rodriguez and Mr. Kupiec who worked to make this day successful and seamless! It was a memorable morning for Roger Bacon students and the St. Bernard community. It was a great reminder that "it is in giving that we receive."
