Athletic Director Steve Rossi Named SWOADA AD of the Year

Congratulations to our very own Mr. Steve Rossi on being the recipient of 2020 SWOADA Athletic Director of the Year Award.

Mr. Rossi has been the Athletic Director at Roger Bacon since 2014 and has helped oversee and be a part of major improvements including; Thomas J. Fogarty Center renovation, Bron Bacevich Memorial Stadium renovation and most recently, Frank Robinson Field at Ross Park. In addition, Mr. Rossi is the head coach of our girls tennis team and has coached our golf team in the past.

Prior to Roger Bacon, Rossi served as AD at Yellow Springs. Before that, he spent 5 years in Cincinnati Public Schools as the AD at Aiken and the Assistant AD at Western Hills.

“It’s very humbling to be recognized but this is a reflection of Roger Bacon as a whole! It’s awesome to have the support of your administration and it helps a lot when you have an amazing staff, including a great Assistant AD like Brandon Spaeth,” says Rossi.
