Assisi Scholars Make Pilgrimage to Rome and Assisi

Roger Bacon's Assisi Scholars have finally begun their well-earned trip to Rome and Assisi. The seniors and their chaperones left July 29 for the 10-day pilgrimage. The trip has traditionally taken place in the fall of their senior year, but was pushed back due to COVID-19 complications to this summer.

After taking in the sites in Rome for a few days, the seniors have moved on to Assisi to walk in the footsteps of St. Francis and St. Clare, learning more about our Franciscan charism and heritage, and making time for gelato, of course!
