Anatomy Students Travel to Beacon Orthopaedics for Hands-On Experience

On Wednesday, January 21, fifteen students from Mr. Smith’s Anatomy and Physiology classes had the opportunity to step beyond the classroom and into the medical field during a visit to Beacon Orthopaedics’ Summit Woods location. Guided by Dr. Ian Rice, Team Medical Director for Roger Bacon, students explored the structure of the knee and observed how surgeons use arthroscopic tools to diagnose joint injuries. The experience brought their studies to life, helping students envision future careers in healthcare through hands-on, real-world learning.
