Allister Fike '27 Qualifies for OHSAA Golf State Championship Rounds

At the OHSAA D2 Golf District Championship at Heatherwoode, '27 Allister Fike overcame a pair of early bogeys and shot -1 the rest of the way to shoot a one-over-par 72, easily his best score of the season.

While his drives weren't perfect, Allister relied on an outstanding chipping game and some timely putting to put up the 2nd best score among individuals, and the fourth-best score overall of over 70 golfers at the course.

Better yet, his score of 72 was enough for Allister to qualify for the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP ROUNDS in Columbus in two weeks. What an accomplishment, and he's still only a freshman!

Allister becomes the second Roger Bacon Golfer in 4 seasons to qualify for State, joining legendary golfer Adam Trigg-Holdman for the honor. Congrats Allister and we can't wait for the State Finals!
