Traveling Spartan Village Tailgate:

out. The park will be available for cornhole or to toss a football if people are interested. Bring the families!

Roger Bacon School Messaging System:

• For families that are new to Roger Bacon this year, you may have received a text message this past Monday from the number 67587 asking if you wanted to opt-in to a text service based on information you provided from Summer Forms in SpartanLink this past summer. You must reply “Yes” or “Y” to that message to receive future text messages from Roger Bacon. Other schools use this same service, so if you have already opted in to any message from 67587 you are already signed up and will receive any messages from any of the schools (including RB) you are affiliated with.

o If you are a returning RB family and you have already opted-in, you are already signed up for text messages and you did NOT receive this message from Roger Bacon.

o Roger Bacon will send a test text message tomorrow (Friday) so all families can check if you are successfully signed up. If you do not receive the text message tomorrow please reach out to Michelle Peters in Student Services at mpeters@rogerbacon.org indicating what number you would like added to receive text messages. Within 24 hours of her adding the number you should receive the text message so you can opt-in. You can also contact Michelle Peters if there are any changes you need to the phone number(s) that are receiving the weekly Sunday call from Mr. McCoy.

o You can also opt out of these messages at any time by simply replying to one of our messages with “Stop.” We recommend saving this short code and Caller ID to the contacts on your phone. This will help prevent any 3rd party call blocking systems from interfering with your receipt of important messages sent by the school or district. This texting service is compliant with Ohio SB 29, so you can rest assured that your information is safe and will never be given or sold to anyone
