Robotics Club Showcases Their Hard Work in End of the Year Competition

Roger Bacon’s cafeteria turned into a battle zone as students from our Robotics classes and club brought their creations to face-off on Wednesday in front of a packed house of classmates.

The robots were divided into teams of two, and played a game of “capture the flag” while doing everything they could to impede the other team, from stealing flags and distracting opponents to outright war.

The robot battle was the final, summative project of our Robotics department, as students put their skill in programming, design, construction and remote control to the test.
