Four Roger Bacon Students Win The Montgomery Photo Competition

Montgomery Photo Contest

Exposure: Montgomery, the area’s longest-running amateur photo competition and awards presentation – now in its 35th year – took place on Sunday, April 2nd. The event is presented by the Montgomery Arts Commission and is open to beginners and serious amateurs alike. The 2023 Judges were Michael Sanders, University of Cincinnati and Emily Bauman, Cincinnati Art Museum. The judges looked for photos that captured technical brilliance, originality, or a unique point of view and are chosen from both adult and student (high school or below) categories.

Four students from Roger Bacon were winners in the Montgomery Photo Competition held on April 2nd. The winners are:

  • Ava Otto ‘25 – “Olivia”
  • Trevor Ogilvie ‘23 – “End of the Line”
  • Morgan Heinrich ‘25 – “Mother's Calling”
  • Matthias Wang ‘25 won the overall Best in Show Award for his work “9-5.”

All their works will be on display in Montgomery at Pella Windows for the next month.
