Roger Bacon’s TRASH OTR program continues to go forward to greater things, with an ever increasing turnout from our students, as their desire to serve others grows. This past Sunday saw 36 current Spartans rise early to begin the morning celebrating mass together at St. Francis Seraph. The students then walked OTR together picking up trash and debris. Roger Bacon students are taught often about the value they possess, and the value in the world around them. TRASH OTR helps bring this philosophy to life by not only improving an often overlooked Cincinnati community, but by also strengthening the bond that Roger Bacon students share.
The morning ended with the students heading to Findlay Market to have lunch together and enjoy each other’s company. It was a great day for service to the community in the midst of gloomy weather.
