Pureland Supply Vocational and Skilled Trade Scholarship

Pureland Supply has been selling high quality replacement projector lamps to various universities, schools, and government entities since 1997. We understand the importance of skilled trades in our society and appreciate those who learn and perform specific trade, craft or labor occupations.

The $500.00 Pureland Supply Scholarship
is available to students who have been accepted to an accredited trade school, vocational college, technical school or community college for the study of trade, craft, or labor occupations. Recipients are chosen on their ability to describe how their chosen trade or field plays an important role in today’s world and why this is the path they have chosen.

Anthony Munoz Foundation Scholarship

Developed through Anthony and his family’s passion to help deserving students reach their dreams of attending a local college or university, the Foundation’s Scholarship Fund awards multiple $20,000 scholarships to select Tri-State high school seniors.

SCHOLARSHIP FUND INFORMATION:

  • Application Process
    • Students must apply for the Scholarship Fund
  • Eligibility Requirements
    • Any high school senior attending a high school within AMF’s Area of Impact
    • Students must have a minimum GPA of 3.0 OR a minimum composite ACT score of 18
    • Students must have freshman standing by the fall of 2021 to an Eligible Tri-State College/University
    • Students must demonstrate a desire and intent to overcome adversity, financial need, high academic standing and a leadership role in the community
  • What Happens After Applications Close?
    • If chosen, students will be required to interview with member(s) of the Anthony Muñoz Foundation Scholarship Fund selection committee
    • Finalists will be announced at the end of May and will attend the award ceremony at our Hall of Fame Dinner in June

Woman's City Club of Greater Cincinnati

The Woman's City Club of Greater Cincinnati established the WCC and Michael Ramundo Memorial Education Awards to encourage responsible civic awareness among local female high school seniors. The $1000 education awards are presented directly to recipients to be used as needed to further their educational goals.

This year the awards will be presented at a virtual event to be held on Thursday, June 3rd at 7:00 pm. Award recipients will be notified approximately two weeks prior to the event.

Essay and letter of recommendation required. Applications can be found in the guidance office. Deadline to apply is May 7, 2021.

Minority Athletic Directors Association

To apply you need to:

  • Be a minority
  • Be a leader in the community
  • Be a graduate of a Southwest Ohio area high school
  • Have a 2.5 or above GPA
  • Provide proof of a college acceptance letter
  • Two Letters of Recommendation
  • Essay
  • Obtained at least one varsity letter or one year in band

The Fuel Foundation 2021 Pay it Forward Scholarship

Who is Eligible?
• SIGMA Members’ adult or student employees, spouses, children, grandchildren and dependents of current employees.
• High School Seniors who have been accepted to college or trade school for Fall of 2020 with a minimum GPA of 2.5
• Students currently enrolled in a Trade School, Undergraduate, Graduate, and PhD program with a cumulative 2.5 College GPA AND a minimum of one full time quarter/semester completed.
• Individuals who have completed significant volunteer work in your community or school such as public service, community outreach, coaching, event volunteering, etc. (Supporting documentation required).

Eligibility Documentation

  • Have at least one food allergy (provide Doctor’s note)
  • Provide documentation for college, university, or trade school acceptance or provide a copy of student ID at current college, university, or trade school
  • Submit 500-word essay on your experience with food allergies and how it has shaped your life

BigSun Scholarship 2021

The BigSun Organization is proud to be able to help young athletes succeed in their academic pursuits. In order to do our part we are offering an annual scholarship to a deserving student. All student athletes are eligible regardless of the sport they are engaged in or the capacity in which they participate. The student must be a high school senior or be attending a post secondary institute.

Please send a short essay (500 - 1,000 words) answering the following questions:

  • How did your participation in sports during your high school years influence you?
  • Has your participation influenced your career goals?
  • How has your participation influenced how you relate to your family?

The Balanced Man Scholarship at UC

During the 2020 – 2021 school year, SigEp Chapters will award over $225,000 at more than 160 campuses across the country through the Balanced Man Scholarship program. We believe that recognizing students who exhibit balance and all-around excellence is a way to promote this important ideal. Each year, our chapter at the University of Cincinnati awards up to $4,000 in scholarships to incoming freshman students. Our goal is to reward men who exemplify the qualities of a Sound Mind and a Sound Body, as we believe they are essential to leading a balanced life.

To qualify for the Balanced Man Scholarship, you must attend the University of Cincinnati in the 2021-2022 school year and submit the application by July 15th, 2021. The application can be fund here.

LA Tutors awards students who showcase their creativity and make positive impacts with a $500 Innovation in Education scholarship. On an ongoing monthly basis, this scholarship is open to all currently enrolled high school and college students who showcase their creativity while helping those around them (whether that be in a creative fundraiser, inventive new app, series of blog posts on a particular theme, etc.). The application deadline is 11:59 pm PST on the 20th of each month.

Requirements:

Must be currently enrolled in high school or college with a cumulative CPA of at least 3.0 and be a citizen of, permanent resident of, or hold a valid student visa in the United States or Canada. Click here for full details and application.
