Union Apprenticeship Career Fair

Careers in construction can change your life.

They pay top wages in their industry, offer many benefits such as healthcare and retirement plans, and give you the opportunity to learn and obtain college credit.

Union construction programs in the Greater Cincinnati area are now recruiting to fill hundreds of opportunities in their apprenticeships.

The fair is being help Tuesday, April 18, 2023.

Come and learn firsthand information about which trade and apprenticeship would be the best fit for your future.

  • Morning session: 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.

Visit Tables and Group Discussion & Two- 30 Min. Breakout sessions with the trade of your choice.

  • Afternoon session: 12:30 p.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Visit Tables and Group Discussion & Two- 30 Min. Breakout sessions with the trade of your choice.

  • Evening session: 5:30 p.m.- 7 p.m.

Introduction meeting at 5:45 pm. Employers and apprenticeship programs with application information at career fair tables.

Young Entrepreneurs of Color Pitch Competition

The Abercrumbie Group is proud to present the 2023 Young Entrepreneurs of Color Pitch Competition! This year, it will take place as a one-week paid internship, July 17-21, 2023 from 8:30 AM to 4:30 PM at the First Financial Bank Innovation Center located at One East Fourth Street in Cincinnati. Open to students ages 15-20. Interns will earn $595 for the full week.

Kenzie's Closet

Kenzie's CLOSET is a nonprofit organization that provides prom dresses and accessories to high school students at no cost to those who are in current financial or personal need.

2023 Shopping Days: March 2nd - May 2nd

Once booked - a personal shopper will be assigned to you to help you find THE PERFECT PROM DRESS. You will leave your shopping experience with a GORGEOUS dress, two (2) pieces of jewelry, shoes and a purse - all yours to keep!

Kenzie's Closet Volunteer

Volunteers play a very important role in our mission. We have a variety of ways that you can help out at Kenzie's CLOSET!

During "Prom Season" (between the months of March through April) we offer multiple shopping opportunities after school from 3-6:00 pm and one Saturday option, as well.

​Primarily, we seek volunteers of all ages (high school through adult) to assist with boutique activities. High school volunteers are needed to help with stocking of dresses and helping with our shoe room and jewelry counter as well as providing valuable peer feedback and support.
