Tablet Program

Upon entering Roger Bacon as a member of the freshmen class, students will be issued a tablet computer to supplement their learning in the classroom.  Teachers are now able to digitally distribute homework, notes, powerpoints, quizzes and even tests through classroom management software.  

The HP Slate 500 runs the full feature Windows 7 operating system for all desktop applications (Office, Adobe software including Flash).  In addition to having a multi-touch screen, it also includes a digitizer pen which is great for classroom activities.  This tablet is not just for consuming content but creating digital content as well.  The Slate is easy to carry around with an 8.9 inch screen and weighing only 1.5 pounds.
