Roger Bacon provides complete lunch service for students including hot and cold items at a very reasonable price. Free and reduced lunch is available for those who qualify.

Each day there is an RB Special, a complete meal for $2.25.  For example, one day students may buy a hoagie, mash potatoes or green beans, a fruit cup, and milk or 100% juice cup for $2.25.  On the same day, students can buy tuna salad, a tuna croissant or a tuna club with mash potatoes or vegetables, a fruit cup, and milk or 100% juice cup for just $2.25.

Students have many choices in the lunch line. The homemade soups are a favorite including clam chowder, potato and minestrone. Students can choose from these salads: grilled chicken, tossed, pasta or tuna. They also have several choices of sandwiches.

A hot meal is available every day. There is a long standing tradition of coneys on Thursdays.  Pizza is served on Fridays.  On other days students have options like taco salad or chicken. The students particularly love the mash potatoes served with an ice cream scooper.

Sometimes you’ll see guests in the cafeteria – alumni who like to join the students, see what is happening and enjoy the staff’s cooking again. If you would like to come for lunch one day, please contact the Advancement Office at 641-1313 or advancement@rogerbacon.org.
