Seniors,

Mark your calendar!  Wednesday, October 15, 2008 is Senior Job Shadowing Day.   This day provides you the opportunity to spend the day with a professional in a career of your choice.  We will give you more information in September but you will only have a few weeks to turn in your permission slip.  Get an early start and start thinking about someone in a career that interests you.

Application deadlines for colleges and universities are earlier than ever.  Entrance requirements continue to be more selective.  Please be prompt in submitting your college applications.  If you have not taken an ACT or SAT test, register now!

Here are some reminders about taking the ACT or SAT test.  Test Registration and Test Preparation manuals for both tests are available in the Guidance Office. These include full-length practice exams and information on content, types of questions, and test taking strategies.

Each test company has a web site that offers extensive free resources and background information about these tests. Links to these sites and other college search resources are available on the Roger Bacon Guidance Links page. Registration materials can be mailed or you can register with either testing company on-line. The school code for Roger Bacon is 361-080
