Approximately 50% of our seniors earn college scholarships each year, worth millions of dollars.
The Class of 2007 accumulated 5,746 volunteer hours, nearly two times the required amount of 20 hours per person.
Roger Bacon offers 10 AP courses which provide students the opportunity to earn college credit.
Students are consistently recognized as National Merit Scholars, including six in the Class of 2008 and seventeen in the past three years.
75% of our faculty members hold at least one masters degree and three hold a PhD.
The student-teacher ratio is 14:1 and the average class size is 19.

Roger Bacon gives more than $400,000 in aid through awards and grants to in-coming freshmen.
Roger Bacon awarded more than $600,000 in scholarships and financial assistance to approximately 60% of the student body.
Our teachers use LCD projectors, SmartBoards, Sympodiums, Tablet PCs, WebQuests, graphing calculators, a classroom set of laptops, and other tools to successfully integrate technology into the curriculum.
Our girls’ volleyball team has been state champions three years out of the past six – 2001, 2004 and 2005 – earning Coach Schawe her 500th win in the fall of 2005 and National Coach of the Year honors. In 2007, they were Regional Runner-ups and District Champions.
Our wresting team was the 2006 & 2007 SW Ohio Sectional Champions. In 2007, they were the league and City Champions and the SWOWCA Division II Team of the Year.
The boys’ tennis team was the 2006 Sectional Champions, the 2005 football team was the GCL Champions and qualified for state.
In 2007, Roger Bacon won the GCL All-Sports Trophy. Our sports programs have won four state titles, ten regional titles, 28 district titles, 28 sectional titles, and 25 league titles in the last ten years.
Our famous band continues to perform at Cincinnati Bengals games, parades, and other community events like the Reds Opening Day Parade.
The Robotics Club placed second in the Competition Award at the 2006 BEST Game Day Robotics Competition at UC and also earned third in the Bearcat BEST Award and won the Founders Award for Creative Design.
The underwater hockey team won the gold medal at the 2007 U.S. Underwater Hockey National Championships in Minnesota and played at the World Championships in Sheffield, England in 2006.
In 2006, the Academic Team finished third in their division, beating five other GCL teams and Dan Stiver was chosen First Team Greater Cincinnati Academic League (only eight students are chosen for this recognition).
