Academic Programs

Honors Program

This is an accelerated program of study for our most academically capable students. Honors students taking Advanced Placement courses can earn semester or quarter college credit in European History, American History, English Language and Composition, English Literature, Calculus, Biology, Physics, Chemistry, Art, and Computer Programming. In addition, AP tests in other subject areas may be taken on an individual level basis. Students are selected for the honors level based upon the results of the placement test and teacher recommendations.

College Preparatory Program

This is a challenging, liberal arts program for students planning to attend a four-year college or university.

College Preparatory II Program

This level is designed for students considering college after graduation. Students will take a foreign language during their junior and senior years. Some students may be assigned to general courses depending on their math and reading test scores.

General Program

The general program is designed to give students concentrated help in English, math, science and history courses. Small self-contained class sizes are available so that students receive as much individualized attention as possible.
