  • Bowling tryouts are on November 5th and 6th from 3:30 - 5:00 pm at Colerain Bowl.  If you have any questions, please contact the head coach, Coach Miller, at chris_m45239@yahoo.com.

  • ASPIRE Testing.  The ACT ASPIRE test will be given to all freshmen and sophomores on Thursday, November 8th and during flex on Wednesday, November 14th. Students tested will not miss the Veterans’ Assembly on November 8th. Because this assessment is directly connected to the ACT, it can accurately predict a student’s future scores on the ACT by measuring their achievement in English, math, reading, and science. The ASPIRE measures student readiness in 21st century skills necessary for success in and out of school. The results of the assessment are NOT sent to colleges, but are used here to identify areas that teachers can address more fully in the classroom. The best preparation for the test is a good night’s sleep and healthy breakfast!

  • Freshmen Service Days . October begins our Freshmen Service Days where we provide students with the opportunity to learn more about our Christian call to serve. Placing our faith into action is essential for Franciscans for it shows our love of Jesus Christ to the world. The class of 2022 is divided into quarters for their Freshman Service Day. Your child will be participating on an assigned service day in Over-the-Rhine as follows:
    - October 12, 2018: Accurso – Dinh
    - October 26, 2018: Dirr – Janzen
    - November 2, 2018: Jennings – Petrey
    - November 16, 2018: Phillips – Wu
Any questions can be directed to the Director of Community Outreach, Father Roger Lopez, OFM at outreach@rogerbacon.org.

  • Coaches' Challenge Fundraiser. Come and support Roger Bacon head football coach Mike Blaut as he takes on the Coaches from LaSalle, Colerain, Northwest, St. X, Moeller and North College Hill in this Northwest Exchange Club sponsored Coaches' Challenge Fundraiser on Tuesday, November 6th from 6:00 – 9:00 pm at the Clovernook Country Club. The coaches will be tending bar for the 3 hours and the coach who receives the most tips during that time will be declared the Coaches' Challenge Champion. Coach Blaut has had great support the last 2 years only to finish as runner-up both years. He needs only a little more assistance to become CC Champion. All funds raised will go directly to Nates' Toys and the Ronald McDonald House. Let's show the competing schools that the Spartans "never yield” and RB is a “school of victory."

  • Seniors
    • Jostens will be here on Monday, November 5th to get measurements for caps and gowns.
    • Jostens will be at both lunches on Monday, November 12th to collect graduation announcement order forms. If you still need a packet, please see Mrs. Wilson in the Main Office.

  • Did you know you can help raise funds for RB Athletics every time you use your Kroger Plus card? Please take 5 minutes of your time and sign up to benefit our student athletes! Follow these simple instructions at https://rogerbaconspartans.org/kroger-community-rewards/
