  • RB Christmas Concert.  Join Concert Band, Chamber Choir and RB3 for this year’s Christmas Concert. On Thursday, Dec. 13th at 7:30 pm, come see the beautifully decorated Fine Arts Center and hear wonderful Christmas music. What better way to get ready for the Holiday Season than with everyone’s favorite Christmas songs. We will feature a wide variety of traditional classics and contemporary hits – beautiful choral ballads and upbeat rock numbers. In one of our biggest concerts of the year featuring individual group songs and full combined pieces, this will be performance neither you – or Santa – will want to miss!

From the Guidance Office

  • Applications for spring and summer internships in Senator Portman’s Cincinnati office are now being accepted. Internships in Senator Rob Portman’s offices offer students an exciting introduction to the U.S. Senate and the workings of a Senate office. Interns are assigned to work alongside staff responsible for the Senator’s legislative, press, and administrative operations. Applications will be reviewed for 2019 internships on a rolling basis. Please email a completed application packet including: 1) high school transcript; 2) one page explanation of interest in the internship; and 3) two letters of recommendation to Please contact the senator's office at 513-684-3265 or via email at if you have any questions regarding internships in Senator Portman’s office.

  • Knights of Columbus Scholarship is a $1,000 scholarship available to students in grades 9-12 attending an Ohio Catholic high school. Students must be a practicing Catholic, have at least a 2.5 GPA, financial need, scholastic honors, extracurricular activities and community service. Deadline for submission is November 28, 2018. Applications can be found on the Guidance website or in the Guidance Office.

  • Kings Island is seeking talented musicians, singers, dancers, actors, variety artists, costumers, character cohorts and technicians for the 2019 summer and WinterFest seasons. Auditions will be held at Kings Island on Thursday-Saturday, December 20th - 22nd from 10:00 am - 2:00 pm.

   9:45-11:15 - Social Studies Exam
   11:30-12:45 - Make-up/Conflict Exams
Students should report to the location of the first exam by 7:45 am.

Please note . . .
    • Exams will be taken during exam week for all non-elective courses in the following departments: English, Mathematics, Science, and Social Studies.
    • Students are expected to take exams during the designated time on the schedule.
    • The make-up/conflict exam slot is intended for students who miss an exam on the first day or have two Math/Science classes. Students may also set up a make-up time with their teacher for a mutually agreed upon time during Exam Week or after we return from Christmas Break.
    • Exam grades count as 20% of the semester average. Study for your exams. Get a good night’s sleep. Eat a good breakfast in the morning.
    • Lunch will not be served on exam days.

Behavior Expectations . . .
    • Regular dress code is to be observed during exams.
    • Students who do not have to take an exam do not have to be on campus. Students who are on campus but do not have to take an exam must report to the cafeteria.
    • Students are expected to stay in the exam room until the end of the testing period.
    • In the event of a school closing due to weather, the exam schedule will shift one day, and the second day of exams will take place after we return from Christmas Break.
    • If there is a two hour delay, exams will begin two hours later.

From the Drama Guild

  • If you like to dance or are planning on auditioning for Godspell, join the Drama Guild for a Dance Workshop this Friday the 30th. This workshop will go from 3:00 to 5:00 pm in the Music Room and is taught by the talented Ria Villaver! Please see Ms. Murray with any questions.
  • The Drama Guild is getting ready to look for great talent and helping hands for their production of Godspell. If you think that you have what it takes, come to the informational meetings on December 12th at 3:00 pm or December 13th during Flex to learn how to get involved. Auditions will be held on January 7th and 8th with dance auditions and crew interviews on January 9th. If you have any questions, see Ms. Murray.
