Announcements

  • Registration information is out for the 2019-2020 school year -  it is due to the Business Office by Friday, February 1st.  Contact the Business Office if you have not received it. BE A SPARTAN!

  • “RB’s Got Talent” 2019. Our opening round has been completed and teams have been determined! The next round continues with Show Night on Tuesday, January 29th at 7:30 pm. It is a free event and will feature acts from all members of the teams and their coaches. Come root on your favorite performer and coach and help vote the best acts into the finale.

  • Catholic Schools Week starts on Sunday, January 27th and runs through Friday, February 1st. Events are as follows:

  • The SVDP Basketball Tournament is on Friday, February 1st. Bring in donations of food, personal care items, or money to help your favorite team get an advantage. Stay tuned for more information about signing up to play. See Trent Walker or Ms. Vehorn with any questions. 

  • Winter Signing Day.  The winter signing ceremony will take place on Wednesday, February 6th at 12:50 pm in the Fine Arts Center.  The ceremony will be held before the Talent Show finals.  Parents, family members and coaches are invited to attend.  They should arrive no later than 12:30 pm to accommodate seating.  Following the signing ceremony, refreshments and photo opportunities will take place in the Information and Technology Center.            

  • Drivers Education classes start on Monday, February 11th. Information is available in the main office. Classes will be Mondays and Wednesdays for 4 weeks.

From the Guidance Office

  • Seniors
    • U.C. Blue Ash is hosting two Open House events:  Thursday, February 28th from 6:00 - 8:30 pm and Saturday, April 6th from 1:00 - 3:30 pm.  Seniors who attend can apply to U.C. Blue Ash free while they are there.  It is a great opportunity to learn about their Honors Program, take a campus tour, and meet with with representatives from degree and certificate programs.  Register at ucblueash.edu/openhouse. 
    • College admissions decisions are going out now! Please let us know where you have been accepted by signing the book in the guidance office.
    • We have added new scholarships to the web page!  Make sure you check it regularly through the next few months. You should submit your FAFSA if you have not done so already. The link to the PowerPoint from the Financial Aid Night presentation is listed on the Guidance page.
    • We want to know about ALL of the scholarships you have been offered! As you receive offers, please bring a copy of the award letter to the guidance office. We will announce all of the scholarships each senior has been offered at the Graduation Awards Ceremony in May.

  • Juniors. You will be taking the ACT here on Tuesday, March 12th. This test is free and you do not have to register for it. Scores from this test may be sent to colleges as well. You will be doing some prep work for the test in your classes during third quarter.

  • Fredericks Landscaping is hiring for the grass, maintenance, and landscape divisions for the 2019 season. Apply in person at 301 South Cooper Road, Lockland, 45215 or call 821-9407.

  • The Cincinnati Zoo is hiring for the Fall and Winter seasons. After school and weekend hours available. Call David Kunkemoeller at 513-601-3939 if you are interested.

Attention Veterans and Families of Veterans

We are looking for information on graduates from either Roger Bacon or Our Lady of Angels who have served in the military after World War II. If you are or know someone who has served, would you please provide the following information:

  • Name
  • Graduation Year
  • Branch of Service
  • Years of Service (i.e., 1975 - 1980)

We are recognizing our veterans and current servicemen and women in our Honors Hallway and sincerely appreciate your assistance in identifying all our alum who have or are serving in our armed forces.
