All freshmen and upperclassmen are invited to play underwater hockey for Roger Bacon. Students need to be able to swim, but they do not have to be an exceptional swimmer to play underwater hockey.  Any student who is interested in playing is asked to see Dr. Wittekind in Room 33. If parents have any questions, please email Dr. Wittekind at pwittekind@rogerbacon.org. See you in the pool!

  • Thrift Store. The annual SVDP Thrift Store will be held on Friday, August 23 and Monday August 26, Flex - 3:15 pm. Stop by to pick up secondhand Roger Bacon uniform items and spirit wear. Sales are cash only, and each student may purchase up to five items. All proceeds are used to help our neighbors in need. Questions – contact Serenity Murphy or Ms. Vehorn.

  • Are you interested in learning to tap dance?  The Drama Guild is sponsoring tap dance lessons on Monday, August 26th from 3:00 - 5:00 pm in the Fine Arts Center.  This is free to all Roger Bacon students!  Sign-up in room 56.

  • Senior Assisi Scholars Pilgrimage Meeting.  Parents, chaperones, and senior Assisi pilgrims are invited to attend an informational meeting on Thursday, August 29th from 5:30-7:00 pm in the Information and Technology Center. The purpose of the meeting is to answer any last-minute questions that you may have about the pilgrimage. A light dinner will be served.

  • The price for student lunches is $4 for the 2019/20 school year.  This price is for the "Special" - includes all of the items listed on the menu for that day.

  • Please keep tuition and lunch accounts current.  Contact the Business Office with any questions.  Thank you!

Guidance Department

  • We are excited to welcome two new counselors to the Guidance Office! Mr. Solomon Tentman will be working with all of the freshmen this year. Ms. Jessica Smith will be working with all students in grades 10, 11, and 12 whose last names begin with A – K.
