  • Welcome Sisi! We are excited to welcome the newest member of our Spartan Family – a five-month old Australian Labradoodle named Sisi. She will be joining us on May 1st as a fully trained, hypo-allergenic therapy dog. Sisi is currently going through twelve weeks of training at “Ultimate Canine” in Indiana. After that, select members of Roger Bacon’s faculty and staff will have three days of training as handlers. Sisi will spend her days at school, as well as attending games, assemblies, retreats, etc. The trained handlers will instruct students on how to best interact with and behave around Sisi so the experience is both enjoyable and productive. We look forward to you meeting Sisi when you visit Roger Bacon! If you would like to contribute to her ongoing care (food, vet bills, supplies) please contact Principal Steve Schad at (

  • Attention Senior Parents: Each year, the Roger Bacon yearbook staff offers parents the opportunity to honor their son or daughter with a PDA (Public Display of Affection) ad in the yearbook. These ads support the production of the yearbook and are a wonderful way to preserve your senior's memories for years to come. For more information and a copy of the order form, visit

From the Drama Guild

CONGRATULATIONS! Over Easter Break, the Cappies of Greater Cincinnati revealed the 2018-2019 Season Nominations. We are astounded to have received NINE nominations for Godspell, including Best Musical! The Cappies will be holding their Gala at the Aronoff Center to honor the nineteen participating schools and announce the winners of the 42 different awards. Being nominated for Best Song means that our Drama Guild will perform "Learn Your Lessons Well" on the Aronoff Center stage at the Gala! The Cappies Gala is like the Oscars/Tony Awards of Cincinnati area high school theater and is open to the public. It is a dressy event that begins at 7:00 pm on Thursday, May 23rd at the Aronoff Center. Tickets will go on sale to the public on Wednesday, May 8th at 9:00 am at the Aronoff Box Office (513-621-2787) - all are welcome to come. With this being our first year to be critiqued, we are over the moon at the reception of Godspell and the fact that the Cappie Critics enjoyed it this much! THANK YOU for all of the support given to the Cast and Crew during the past few months! We hope to see you at the Gala!
