Senior Exam Schedule.  All exams will take place in the Cafeteria with the exception of Bell 3 on May 20th, which will take place in Room 34.

Exams will be given during exam week only for the following courses: English, Math, Physics, Chemistry, Government, Religion, and Foreign Language.   Electives will not have exams during exam week.  Seniors taking the first exam of the day are to report to the Cafeteria before 8:00. Seniors are not required to be at school unless they have an exam and are expected to take their exams during the designated period. Seniors may not leave campus between exams for any reason.  Regular dress code is to be observed during exams.  Students will be expected to remain in their exam for at least 60 minutes.  Students who miss an exam due to absence must touch base with their teachers as soon as possible to make arrangements to make up the exam. Exam grades count as 20% of the semester average. Study for your exams. Get a good night’s sleep. Eat a good breakfast in the morning.

Underclassmen Final Exam Schedule.  All exams will take place in the room in which the class meets during the semester.

Summer Camp Brochures Available.  Current grade school students (especially incoming ninth graders) who are interested in learning or sharpening skills in football, basketball, soccer or volleyball are encouraged to check Roger Bacon’s website, www.rogerbacon.org, for information and registration forms for our summer sports' camps. St. Gabriel Church is sponsoring a “Tuition Raffle” as part of its Summer Fest for 2013. The Grand Prize is a "$3500 Tuition Credit” for one student enrolled at St. Gabriel Consolidated School or a Catholic High School during the 2013-2014 school year.

Senior Service Hours.  Senior service hours must be completed to be eligible to walk at graduation.  This includes: (1) performing 20 hours of service; (2) submitting tracking forms for at least 20 hours of service, and (3) submitting an evaluation/reflection upon your service project.  If there are any concerns or questions, please contact Mrs. Ausere. 

The Evening for Excellence was a huge success this year and we would like to thank everyone for their part in making this happen. Over $190,000 was raised that night with over $50,000 donated to the Joe Corcoran Scholarship Fund. If gave of your time, talent or treasure we appreciate all that you do!  We are in need of parent chairs & volunteers for the night of the auction for next year so if you can volunteer to help we would love to talk to you. Just email cbissmeyer@rogerbacon.org and let me know and we will work with your schedule. The auction next year is on April 12th and your volunteer time would be needed between February and early April. Many hands make light work!

The Roger Bacon/OLA Alumni/ae Association has been assisting students for over 50 years through our Scholarship Program. In order to continue this program, we need your support. Steak Fry on June 7.   Join us on Friday, June 7, 2013, for the Summer Steak Fry in the side parking lot. At 4 p.m., we'll serve brats and metts to fuel you for cornhole and split-the-pot. At 6:30, enjoy a delicious steak dinner, served hot off the grill, with a baked potato, corn on the cob and salad. Drinks are available. RB Football Golf Scramble is set for June 21.  The football staff is hosting its 6th Annual Golf Scramble on Friday, June 21, 2013, at Glenview Golf Course, with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost is $100 per person. Kroger Rewards Card Changes.  Kroger has changed the Kroger Card reward system that you have been using. Effective April 1, 2013 you have to re-enroll your Plus Card for the Boosters to receive credit and a percentage of your purchase each time you use your Kroger Plus Card. Your prompt attention to this will generate funds for RB Athletics.  It's is so simple to support the Boosters at Roger Bacon-just by swiping your Kroger Plus Card! See below how to register!  Re-enrolling only takes a few moments and is completed in a few simple steps. For current supporters to re-enroll or to have new supporters enroll:
1. Visit our website at www.krogercommunityrewards.com.
2. Sign in using your email address and password. If you have forgotten your password, just click on "forgot password" and a link will be sent to your email to change your password.
3. Enter your organization's five digit NPO number (81504) or the first three letters of the organization's name, click search.
4. Select your organization (Roger Bacon Athletic Association) by clicking on the circle to the left of your organization's name.
5. Save changes.

Roger Bacon High School Underwater Hockey Summer Camp.  In June 2013, the Roger Bacon High School Underwater Hockey Team will host its seventh annual Roger Bacon Underwater Hockey summer camp for incoming (or rising) 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and incoming Roger Bacon freshmen. Current junior high students will have fun learning the fundamentals of the exciting sport of underwater hockey. The camp will be from 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday, June 24 through Friday, June 28, 2013. The camp will be held at Xavier University in the O’Connor Sports Center pool. The cost is $50, and checks should be made payable to “Roger Bacon High School.”

Twelth Annual Meg Gutzwiller Alumni Soccer Game.  The men’s and women’s soccer programs would like to invite ALL RB and OLA alumni to attend the Annual Meg Gutzwiller Alumni Game, Thursday, July 25, 2013. There is no admission charge for the event. The event will be held at the Roger Bacon stadium beginning at 6:00 PM.   It is an opportunity for all genders and classes to share a festive evening as we close down summer and open up another school year with fall sports. There will be plenty of food, drinks, and candy so bring your family and friends. Alumni soccer player are ask to register at jgutzwiller@rogerbaco,org
