The Class of 2016

Congratulations to the Class of 2016! 95 seniors walked at the 88th Commencement Exercises held on June 3, 2016 in the Thomas J. Fogarty Center. This class included: 28 Ohio Honors Diploma recipients, one National Merit Scholarship Commended Student and 15 Assisi Scholars. The inaugural class of Assisi Scholars were challenged in the classroom by taking a rigorous course load of work and the expectation to complete a capstone project in their senior year. They were rewarded with a visit to Assisi and Rome, Italy on a life changing pilgrimage. 48% of the students in the Class of 2016 were awarded $4,808,911 in merit-based scholarships to universities and colleges across the country. A tree was planted outside the Fogarty Center in honor of deceased classmate, Kris Ford. Kris' family was also presented with a cap, gown and diploma from Roger Bacon High School honoring Kris as a member of the graduating Class of 2016.

The Class of 2016 has left it's imprint on Roger Bacon High School.

We wish this group of Spartans all the luck in the future and hope they always remember, 'Once a Spartan, Always a Spartan.'
