St. Bonaventure Pilgrimage
This Saturday nine Roger Bacon students and 3 faculty/staff members will be joining students from two other Franciscan high schools on a pilgrimage and
school visit at St. Bonaventure University in New York. The St. Bonaventure Pilgrimage is for Roger Bacon students who are open to the possibility
of continuing their Franciscan education and formation into college. Founded in 1858 in the interest of promoting Catholic-Franciscan education, St.
Bonaventure University continues to pursue academic excellence through personalized attention that reflects the Franciscan tradition of valuing human
relationships. To that end, Roger Bacon High School has partnered with two other Franciscan high schools – Padua Franciscan (Cleveland, OH) and Oldenburg
Academy (Oldenburg, IN) – for this collaborative venture.
This college visit is set within the spiritual experience of a pilgrimage. From the beginning of the Christian faith, pilgrims journey to holy places to experience change within themselves.
