Spartans finish as State Runner Up

The Spartans season ended in the Division III State Championship game by falling to the Cleveland Villa Angela St. Joseph Vikings by the score of 54-52. This was the fourth trip to the state final for the boys basketball program and the second state runner up finish in program history (1939). The Spartans tallied a record of 25-5 this season which ties the school record for wins in one season (2002). Plenty of records were accomplished this year including; Brian Neal's 200th career win and Craig McGee Jr breaking the school record for assists, steals and games played.
