Spartan Women Leaders in Manufacturing
Four students from the Engineering I class participated in the Women Leaders in Manufacturing series on Tuesday, October 10. Seniors, Tionna Jordan, Tori White, Harmonie Kugele, and Maddie Gullette toured General Electric, received hands-on demonstrations, participated in student workshops, and sat for a unique “Women in Manufacturing” panel discussion.
The series is designed to expose female middle and high school students to 21st Century Manufacturing. The program provided students and educators an opportunity to learn about today’s manufacturing workplace directly from women business leaders and discover the skills needed to be successful in manufacturing careers. The goal is to tap into today’s female manufacturing leaders to help inspire the next generation of leadership and talent.
This Women Leaders in Manufacturing is sponsored by Dream It Do It OKI, I Made It in NKY, The Greater Cincinnati STEM Collaborative and the Talent Pipeline Initiative
