Spartan recognized as Eagle Scout!
Congratulations to senior, RJ Ravancho on achieving the status of Eagle Scout. RJ was recognized Tuesday evening for his hard work on his Eagle Scout project from this past summer. His project occurred at school starting in April 2016 and ending in early June 2016. RJ was fixing up the hill behind Fogarty. He had the entire area de-weeded and set up for a statute of St. Francis to eventually be placed there. RJ mulched a path from the steps behind Fogarty to the practice field on the far side from the Fitness Center. Then from the practice field he mulched the path that led to Leonard Street.
Unfortunately, RJ's work was damaged in the flood that came through St. Bernard early in the school year. Although his work can no longer be seen, all
his hard work was recognized and the Spartan family is very proud of RJ. Way to go RJ and welcome to the family of many Eagle Scouts who are also Spartans!
