Ms. Julie Vehorn Named Master Teacher – Twice

Congratulations to Ms. Julie Vehorn on once again being designated a Master Teacher as defined by the Ohio Department of Education! There are fewer than 20 people in the Archdiocese of Cincinnati who have received this designation twice.

Ms. Vehorn has been teacher at Roger Bacon for 15 years. She currently teaches AP English Literature and Composition, serves as the Director of Academics, and moderates the St. Vincent de Paul Society on campus.

Dr. Deborah Luebbe, English Department Chair, said, “Julie Vehorn is an exemplar of professionalism, scholarship, and leadership. The designation of Master Teacher is certainly well deserved. Those of us at Roger Bacon High School are so fortunate to see Julie demonstrate her many talents with characteristic personal warmth, grace, and a genuine Franciscan spirit. “

The entire Roger Bacon community extends a big congratulations and a sincere thank you to Ms. Vehorn for her commitment to Franciscan education.
