Cincinnati History Class Field Trip
On a beautiful, sunny Tuesday in early January 2020, Roger Bacon’s Cincinnati History class took a tour of the City of Cincinnati. Led by Roger Bacon Social Studies faculty Mr. Greg Niehaus and Dr. Paul Wittekind, the class visited such locations as Spring Grove Cemetery, Camp Washington and Union Terminal, the observation deck of the Carew Tower, Bicentennial Commons, Smale Riverfront Park, and Over-the-Rhine.
Junior Callie Schildmeyer said,“The field trip was very fun and a great experience. My favorite part was going to the top of the Carew Tower and looking out at all the different places we had learned about in class! And then we ate lunch in Smale Park.”
