2019 Open House Recap

2019 Open House Recap

This year’s Open House was a huge success and our largest attendance yet! We had 310 prospective students from 57 elementary schools visit campus. Students from as close as St. Clement and as far away as Chicago, Illinois, got a small glimpse of what makes Roger Bacon stand out among Catholic high schools.

Below are few reactions from visitors:
“There is a lot of talk about Roger Bacon in our neighborhood and around our school. We had to come see it for ourselves.” - Parent of St. James White Oak student

“We were set on a different school, but the shadow day and this Open House just changed everything.”
 - Parent of Nativity student

“I knew I could easily see my son here. After today, he can easily see himself here. It was great!” - Parent of St. Ignatius student

“I love it. I don’t want to shadow anywhere else. This is the place for me.” - All Saints student

“I love that you are Franciscan and independent. I would love for my son to have Father Roger and the Franciscan influence in his life.” - Parent of St. Andrew student

“This is the happiest open house I’ve ever been to.” - Parent of Our Lady of Lourdes student

“We love that you have so many things for kids to participate in, like the robotics, which were awesome.” Parent of JP II student

“You are beautifully diverse.” - Parent of Corryville Catholic student

Thank you to all of our students, faculty, staff, coaches, alumni, parents and friars that spent part of their Sunday proudly welcoming others into our home.
