Curriculum
Every student at Roger Bacon is pushed to reach their highest potential. As a comprehensive school we offer four distinctive tracks: Honors Program, Advanced College Preparatory Program, College Preparatory Program and a General Level Program for students with specific needs. Our small class sizes foster an intimate learning environment, which allows for one-on-one instruction with the goal that students are challenged to progress to the next academic level.
Honors Program
Students are selected for the Honors Program based upon the results of the High School Placement Test (HPST), grades in elementary school and current teacher recommendations. Students begin taking Advanced Placement courses their sophomore year with the potential for earning additional college credit their junior and senior years. If you are interested in the Honors Program, please contact the Office of Admissions 513.641.1313.
The three other programs: Advanced College Preparatory, College Preparatory, and General Level, are assigned by the Guidance Department based upon the scores on the High School Placement Test (HPST), grades in elementary school, and specific students’ needs in the classroom.
