The students of Roger Bacon come out strong to sporting events to support their fellow classmates. Here is the 'Spartan Army' marching into University of Dayton's arena to cheer the Mens' Basketball team toa victory against Fenwick in Districts 2012. We want you to be a part of the Spartan Army!
The students and staff of Roger Bacon celebrate unity and diversity.
The real world isn't 'all-girls' or 'all-guys' neither is Roger Bacon this is why we love it.
We hope your school year is going well. There are many high schools to choose from, but we are a little different. We are co-ed, giving our students a real world environment. We are Franciscan, and have more religious staff than any other high school, with three priests and two brothers. Our family atmosphere and size is a strength allowing all students to stand out and succeed in many activities. Here at Roger Bacon there is such a unique atmosphere that we feel the best way to get to know Bacon is to visit. Our first day for shadowing start this Tuesday, September 27 and continues throughout the winter. There are so many things you will get to experience on a day of shadowing that you would not get to do otherwise. First of all, you have a whole day to get to know a student here at Roger Bacon. Our student ambassadors are the best of the best at Bacon. They excel academically, are involved in activities around campus, and are very friendly. On your day at RB, you will get to know faculty, staff, students and walk away knowing that this is the best place to go to high school.
If you would like to schedule a visit contact the Office of Admissions at (513) 641-1313. Or click here to schedule a shadow visit online!
Welcome Back Spartans!
To start off the new school year I would like to introduce myself. I am Alyssa Carlotta, the new Assistant Admissions Director and the head JV volleyball coach. As a Roger Bacon graduate of 2005, I am very pleased to be back at my alma mater. I am a senior at Thomas More College in Northern Kentucky majoring in Psychology. I transferred there last year and ended my college volleyball career as the PAC Player of the Year.
Being back at Roger Bacon is a wonderful opportunity! I love this school and I can’t wait to share this love with students of today, and the future! I will be working with ambassadors and shadows throughout the school year. If you or someone you know would be interested in shadowing here at Roger Bacon, feel free to e-mail me with contact information or go to the shadowing page under Future Spartans and request a visit.
Our new website comes along with some new features; we have a great Facebook page, and a brand new Twitter account. Follow us on Twitter @RogerBaconHS and like us on Facebook today!
Like I said before, I am very happy to be back at Roger Bacon. I look forward to the new school year and my experience then and now really shows the true meaning of ‘Once a Spartan, always a Spartan’. Let’s have a great school year!
